Candidates must pass drug screening, background checks and any required pre‑employment tests, hold a high‑school diploma, have at least two years of assembly experience and one year in a supervisory role.
A bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or a related field, five years of assembly experience in a relevant industry, and four years in a supervisory or team‑leader capacity are preferred.
Effective communication and problem‑solving, detail orientation, self‑direction, ability to multitask with urgency, flexibility for overtime, and the capability to operate forklifts, pneumatic tools and other heavy equipment (or learn them) are required, along with mandatory use of personal protective equipment.
The job demands a flexible schedule, including 12‑hour shifts and seven‑day workweeks, and regular lifting of up to 10 lb (frequent), 35 lb (often) and 50 lb (occasional). Employees must perform continuous, repetitive motions, grasp small items, reach, turn wrists, keep pace with production speed, push/pull with reasonable force, and bend, stoop, climb, kneel and stand for extended periods in hot, cold, dusty environments.
