We are looking for a passionate and driven Civil Engineer-in-Training with a background or interest in field and design work involving infrastructure, land development, bridges, and/or roads to join our Kelowna, BC team. As the successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to support the team with the execution of a variety of civil projects.
- Experience in municipal design such as drainage hydrology, storm and sanitary sewer hydraulics, water hydraulics, grading, land development, or road reconstruction is also considered an asset.
- Field experience in materials testing (soils, concrete, asphalt), survey engineering field reviews, or contract administration is considered an asset.
- Effective verbal communicator, including presentation, facilitation and listening skills.
- Experience in bridge structural design, bridge/culvert hydrology or hydraulics is also considered an asset.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (other disciplines encouraged to apply if practicing Civil Engineering)
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Good organization skills and strong attention to detail
- Must be eligible to register as an EIT with EGBC in the province of British Columbia
- 0-4 years of relevant experience in civil engineering
