Supporting negotiation of Consolidation Point with the client.
Reviewing all client changes for implications on main contract commitments and obligations, assisting in drafting early warning notices and assessing and negotiating compensation events.
Overseeing the JV change control process on the project.
Undertaking regular project reviews and audits to verify that the project team is complying with the contract.
Supporting the Project Director and Commercial Director in resolving any disputes with the client.
Auditing that all insurance, guarantees and warranties required under the contract are obtained and maintained throughout the currency of the project.
Providing guidance to the project team on contract requirements and contractual issues.
Advising on any conflict between contract obligations and current legislation.
Auditing that client approvals and consents are received in accordance with contract terms and are fully recorded.
Providing regular reports to the JV Board on prime contract matters.
Reviewing and managing all contractual correspondence and notifications to the client.
Reviewing subcontract terms and conditions for packages of works downstream and ensuring obligations are back-to-back with the main agreement.
Overseeing implementation of the JV Cost Assurance Plan to ensure costs incurred/claimed are in accordance with the terms and conditions of the main contract and to minimise risk of Disallowed Cost.
