What you would be doing

- Provide support for flour testing in the flour lab at the Fridley Mill.
- Perform preparation and analysis on samples and data for both labs.
- Prepare, process, and examine grain in the grading lab.
- Be flexible to support both labs depending on daily needs as determined by the Senior Lab Technician.
- Conduct sanitation activities within the work area.

- Willingness to work in a lab conducting repetitive testing.
- Experience or familiarity with laboratory, food science, and food testing procedures.
- Exposure to food testing, production, or scientific/laboratory coursework is advantageous.
- Effective communication skills.
- Experience in food quality or production is a plus but not mandatory.
- 2-year or 4-year degree in sciences or a high school diploma with relevant experience.
- Proficiency in GMP, QA, and QC practices.
