Our Market Risk Reporting Team is expanding its reporting capabilities within the broader Market Risk group. The role supports power, gas storage, treasury and other marketing businesses by producing and maintaining market risk reports and handling middle‑office activities such as data validation.
- Ensure daily compliance with market risk policies and limits through reporting.
- Perform middle‑office functions: forward price curve validation, position and limit monitoring, risk reporting, and escalation of anomalies.
- Work with ETRM and Data Warehouse systems, assisting in development, testing, and implementation to ensure accurate information flow.
- Maintain and develop tools and dashboards for front‑office exposure, position, and P&L reporting.
- Collaborate with front‑office, back‑office and internal stakeholders to foster cooperative relationships.
- Keep middle‑office process documentation current and support internal and external audits.

The position reports to the Manager, Market Risk Analytics and Reporting in the Risk Management group of Corporate Finance and requires strong organization, time‑management, interpersonal and communication skills.

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field.
- Hands‑on experience with an ETRM system, preferably Endur.
- Programming and database skills such as VBA, Power Query, Power BI, and SQL.
- Understanding of economics, finance, and risk reporting concepts including VaR, P&L, MTM, and position.
- Strong analytical, organizational and detail‑oriented skills; ability to communicate results clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as an effective team member on cross‑functional projects.
- Preferred: 5+ years of market risk experience in middle‑ or front‑office roles, with exposure to North American power, natural gas and emissions markets.
