Mixing and Tooling Operator - Nights

Description

• Safely operates a forklift to supply raw material to recoil and packaging lines in a timely manner, using computer system and handheld scanner to ensure proper inventory levels.
• Transports full and empty reels between our equipment and semi-trailers for shipping.
• Weighs, records and disposes of scrap material generated by the packaging equipment. Reports the amount of scrap to Shift Supervisor
• Maintains effective communication with the packaging operators regarding material needs and delivery

Requirements

• Must be able to problem solve, multitask/prioritize and pay attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Manufacturing experience of 1-3 years is preferred but not required.
• Good math skills are required, including familiarity with the metric system.
• Basic mechanical and technical skills are required.
• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to work a 12-hour shift.
