The Project Executive will develop a client account plan and initiate, lead, and maintain client service activities, as well as serve as a primary contact with the client.
Develop scope, schedule, and fee estimates to support proposal activities.
Identifying and developing new business opportunities, and developing a strategy to position for new projects and winning competitive and sole source work.
Manage business development budgets and investments for pursuits and community engagement activities.
Responsible for mentoring and staff development, including performance appraisals.
Coordinate teaming and partnering as needed for key pursuits.
Oversee work and project managers to ensure delivery of quality projects from both the firm and Client perspectives.
Drive the preparation of large and strategic pursuit marketing proposals and presentations for targeted clients.
Provide management-level project delivery oversight and practice building through recruiting strategic hires and leading activities.
Actively engage in the delivery of projects and provide responsive, high-quality services for projects.
Report to the regional operations and market leaders and assist with annual strategic and tactical planning activities.
The Project Executive for our Water + Environment market will provide leadership to the firm's growing client base in Tennessee.
Securing new work and successfully negotiating and managing contracts.
Contribute to the firm's stature by actively participating in leadership roles in the community and/or professional societies.
Managing client relationships with clients and strategic business development efforts.

12+ years of experience preferred with professional-level experience in water/wastewater treatment, pump station or conveyance design, storm water design.
Demonstrated success in business development and long-term relationship management for municipal clients.
Proven track record of winning work and serving clients through unblemished client references and name recognition throughout the industry.
Candidate must have a history of selling large planning/study projects, water/wastewater, storm water, and/or conveyance projects with a high level of profitability and client satisfaction.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, P.E. licensure required, or in a related field to support the function of the role.
