Machine Operator (2nd Shift)

Description

The machine operator will safely operate and troubleshoot equipment involved in the production of garage doors.

• Ensure the line meets or exceeds safety, quality, and productivity goals hourly and daily.
• Follow written or oral instructions for daily tasks and duties.
• Assist the supervisor in training new team members.
• Update the KPI screen with hourly output notes.
• Work with the supervisor to achieve downstream demand.
• Perform and oversee daily and weekly routine maintenance on line equipment.
• Conduct and document required quality checks while maintaining 5S standards.
• Record accurate downtime and KPI data.
• Follow standard work to achieve required changeover times.
• Collaborate with the supervisor to update and present data on tier boards.
• Follow all safety procedures and programs.

Benefits

This position pays $19.00 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential. It requires manufacturing experience, mechanical aptitude, and is a safety‑sensitive role.
