Ensure accuracy and clarity across all drawings by coordinating with internal departments
Participate in design layout and problem-solving discussions with the engineering team
Create fabrication, assembly, foundation, and elevation drawings, along with supporting documents like bills of materials and installation steps
Collaborate with design engineers to translate sketches and concepts into technical drawings
Support material ordering and vendor coordination
Prepare detailed CAD and BIM drawings for buildings and structures based on engineering specifications

Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain organized, error-free documentation
High school diploma or GED required
General understanding of mechanical engineering principles and sheet/structural metal design
Proficiency in AutoCAD (latest version), Navisworks, Revit, Bluebeam, and FTP systems
Associate’s degree in drafting or related field preferred
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Minimum 2 years of drafting experience, preferably in mechanical design
