Collaborate with internal teams like estimating, design, and project management to ensure accurate proposal details.
Review change orders and recommend approvals
Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings
Provide cost estimating and budget development
Assist in site selection and feasibility analysis
Maintain ongoing relationships with existing clients to foster repeat business and referrals.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other consultants
Network with industry professionals at conferences, events, and through professional associations.
Facilitate communication between the owner, design team, and contractors
Analyze project data to identify cost-saving opportunities
Gather project opportunities requirements and develop, with others, comprehensive proposals, including pricing and project timelines.
Identify and manage potential risks
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
Support contact negotiations with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
Oversee quality control and safety compliance
Conduct constructability reviews of design documents
Monitor project progress against schedule and budget
Provide recommendations for project adjustments as needed
Conduct client presentations to showcase company capabilities and value proposition.
Monitor local and regional construction projects for potential opportunities.
Help with bid package preparation and contractor selection
Identify potential new markets and client segments within the region.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management or equivalent experience
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Proven experience in construction management, preferably with a focus on owner representation
Deep understanding of construction practices, building codes, and project delivery methods
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Minimum of 10 years of relevant construction experience, State of Texas Professional Engineers license
