10+ years' experience supporting various types of projects including engineering services, refurbishments, and/or new build construction projects.
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or related field from an accredited University.
Demonstrated strong directional leaderships in a dynamic work environment, with people management focus and ability to manage technical staff with a broad range of experience.
Experience managing engineering work with interfacing requirements involving other engineering teams (Civil, Mechanical, Human Factors, Procurement, Quality etc.)
Working knowledge of nuclear codes and standards, including CSA N286, CSA N285.0, CSA N289, ASME BPVC Section III Division 1 and ASME B31.1.
Eligible to obtain Security Clearance with Public Services and Procurement Canada.
Registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario with good standing.
5+ years' experience leading teams is required.
Strong knowledge in civil and structures engineering principles and ability to apply engineering principles and develop effective practical solutions.
Experience in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects.
Working knowledge of/experience with the CSA standards, NBCC, pertaining to Civil /Structural Engineering and other applicable standards and nuclear regulatory guides.
Experience on a new build project is an asset (e.g. nuclear, combined cycle, un-conventional nuclear).
Experience in executing large scale Concept-to-Design-to-Implementation projects is an asset.
Experience in interfacing with CNSC and TSSA including preparing correspondence letters, TSSA registration and re-conciliation packages, code classifications.
Experience in nuclear and/or CANDU technology modifications.
