- Construction document production, including drawings, specifications and cost estimates
- Design & analysis of new and existing bridges, retaining walls, culverts, sign structures, and other structures related to the transportation industry
- Actively participate and lead the delivering of quality work, providing excellent client service, and assisting in preparing proposals on various pursuits
- Providing quality check of engineer's computations, designs, or inspection reports
- Perform constructability reviews
- Prepare construction engineering on Design projects
- Assist in proposal development
- Develop Design pursuit structural packages
- Takes active mentoring role; encourages, motivates, and develops staff for high performance.
- Review of shop drawings, and providing response to contractor's request for information
- Prepare Quality Control Documentation
- Manages structural aspects of projects and/or multi-disciplinary projects.
- Mentor the design team

- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Master's Degree preferred, however, not required
- Familiarity with MS Excel, Word and Mathcad
- PA PE License required
- Ability to use structural analysis and design software, such as Midas, LARS, MDX, V-Bent, CSi Bridge, Leap Bridge, STAAD, AASHTOWARE, PennDOT Programs
- Proficiency in the use of OpenBridge and MicroStation (preferred) and/or AutoCAD
- Detailed understanding of structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, pre-stressed concrete, and timber structures, related to transportation.
- Demonstrated skill at project management/business development.
- Bridge load ratings
- Flexible and adapts well to work sharing opportunities on projects throughout PA and other states
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in the structural design and management of bridges and infrastructure projects.
- Ability to lead engineering on bridge and infrastructure projects and are able to play a key role in project delivery from inception to construction, with proven ability to work with clients.
- Current driver's license and safe driving record
