Intern - Category Operations

Description

We are looking for proactive and detail-oriented Fulfilment Operations Interns to support on-ground coordination and ensure smooth execution of orders in their assigned city. This role serves as a bridge between local vendors, contractors/customers, and central teams (Finance, Operations, Product & Tech) to deliver a seamless order-to-delivery experience.

• Prepare weekly reports on order volume, delays, vendor issues, and TAT compliance.
• Support end-to-end order management — from PO creation to delivery completion
• Coordinate with vendors, transporters, and site teams to ensure timely dispatch and delivery
• Raise issues or suggestions related to process improvements and product (tech platform) enhancements
• Ensure accuracy between delivered material and billed quantities
• Vendor payment coordination and cross-team liaisoning
• Act as the local support point for Central Ops, Product, Tech, and Business teams
• Maintain Order-to-Fulfilment TAT as per defined SLAs
• Work with the Finance team to ensure vendor invoices are processed on time
• Track daily order status and highlight delays or issues to central operations
• Verify delivery proofs, invoices, and GRNs before submitting to finance
• Maintain daily fulfilment trackers for city-level operations

Requirements

• Basic understanding of order, invoicing, and logistics workflows (training will be provided)
• Highly organised, process-oriented, and able to work efficiently under pressure
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets and internal tools
• Graduate or currently pursuing graduation (any field)
