Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local safety regulations
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and related experience Degree in Occupational Safety/Health is a plus
Skilled in hazard recognition, record keeping and implementation of corrective measures
Experience with Incident and Injury Free (IIF) safety program preferred
At least 10 years construction safety experience
OSHA30 certification
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build partnerships across the business to improve our safety culture
In-depth knowledge of OSHA standards, Coast Guard safety regulations and workers’ compensation laws
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
