- Application Data Testing & Validation: Perform detailed testing of station-specific application data prepared for Kavach deployments.
- Coordinate with safety, system engineering, and testing teams for smooth execution of validation activities.
- Document results, identify defects, and collaborate with engineering teams to implement corrective actions.
- Ensure application data verification complies with Indian Railways safety standards and EN 50128 V&V obligations.
- Simulate operational and fault scenarios to evaluate system behavior with application data.
- Verify application logic, route data, and configuration against project specifications and design documents.
- Test Planning & Execution: Develop and execute test cases, test procedures, and verification plans in alignment with EN 50128 V&V processes.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed test reports, defect logs, and verification records.
- Integration & System Testing Support: Support integration of application data into laboratory test benches and field test environments.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and field validation trials.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve the overall quality and reliability of application data deliverables.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with application data preparation and design teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Ensure traceability between requirements, application data, test cases, and test results in line with EN 50128 principles.
- Contribute to process improvements for test automation and structured verification activities.
- Validate data consistency, completeness, and correctness using simulation/test tools, ensuring compliance with EN 50128 requirements.

- Experience with Kavach, ETCS, CBTC, or other train protection systems will be an added advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electronics / Electrical / Computer / Railway Engineering or related field.
- Hands-on experience with application data testing, verification, and validation.
- Willingness to travel for site testing and commissioning support.
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and process compliance in all aspects of work.
- 2–5 years of experience in application data preparation or testing in signaling/train control projects.
- Ability to work with simulation tools, test benches, and validation environments.
- Knowledge of railway signaling principles, train control logic, and safety-critical systems.
- Familiarity with EN 50128 and prior exposure to safety-critical software lifecycle processes.
- Knowledge of Indian Railway standards, RDSO processes, and safety regulations.
- Knowledge of EN 50128 standard (Railway applications – Communication, signalling and processing systems – Software for railway control and protection systems), including V&V processes, traceability, and quality assurance practices.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
- Strong understanding of application data engineering in railway signaling or train control systems.
