Leasing Manager

Description

The Leasing Manager is responsible for the full leasing process, executing marketing strategies, and delivering a positive resident experience. Core duties include leasing activities, property marketing and social media postings, planning and hosting resident events, and maintaining strong resident relations, with potential supervision of Leasing Consultants.

• Interview prospective residents and conduct tours of model or vacant units.
• Maintain consistent follow‑up with prospects and process lease applications in compliance with policies.
• Manage lease renewals and perform pre‑move‑in inspections to ensure readiness.
• Plan, coordinate, and host resident events to foster community engagement.
• Handle resident requests and complaints promptly, ensuring positive relations.
• Execute property marketing plans, including market surveys and regular social media postings.
• Mentor and train Leasing Consultants as needed.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and Fair Housing regulations.
• Inspect property conditions periodically and arrange necessary maintenance.
• Work weekends when required and perform occasional physical tasks such as climbing stairs and lifting up to 10 lbs.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance if the property demands.

Requirements

Fogelman is expanding its presence with the newest transition, Preston Ridge Apartments in Hickory, NC, and is interviewing professional, skilled Leasing Manager candidates. The ideal candidate is a creative, sales‑oriented consultant who enjoys helping people find their next home, possesses at least two years of sales or leasing experience, is strong with social media and marketing, provides exceptional customer service, enjoys planning and executing resident events, and works well in a team. Experience with Entrata is a plus.

The role requires regular walking, standing, climbing stairs, and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs, with strong visual, auditory, and communication abilities. • Possess leasing experience (preferably 2+ years) and familiarity with property management platforms such as Yardi or Entrata.
• Demonstrate strong communication, relationship‑building, and customer service skills.
