- Directs, guides, and coaches discipline managers to ensure site activities are understood and follow established processes through quality checks.

- Maintains a complete understanding of all contractual obligations for the project and documentation of variances.

- Manages the project plan and hosts kick-off, update, and closeout meetings.
- Interpreting state rules and regulations
- Strengthens and continually maintains client relationships.

- Ensures that the overall terms of the main contract are passed on to the subcontracts.
- Ensures the project team and all associated subcontractors understand and adhere to the client contract, related exhibits, and project-specific agreements.

- Offering regular and direct feedback on performance and goal progress.
- Manages Contracts and Change orders.
- Participates in hiring and selection process to fill positions on the team.
- Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.
- Drawing Quantity Takeoff
- Manages and maintains the project schedule from preconstruction to project closeout.
- Performs audit functions to ensure compliance.
- Utilizes Safety Management Systems (SMS), Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and technical procedures.
- Follows processes for systems and communication lines on site and ensures implementation is consistent.
- Leads and supports the site team in technical, quality and safety, utilizing system in place.
- Communicates regularly with direct reports on goals, accomplishments, and information on policies.
- Provides the required documents, drawings, and other forms to active projects for monitoring and maintaining the EMS.
- Provides excellence in the management and delivery of the project in line with the client’s expectations.
- Allocates budget, costs to date, forecasts cost to completion, procurement, and materials management.
- Conducts timely, effective performance reviews in accordance with RES guidelines.
- Manages rotation schedule to ensure proper staffing coverage during project construction.
- Managing and supporting employee development and growth.
- Supports recruiting and hiring of outstanding talent.
- Participates in additional projects as assigned by Director and VP.
- Ensures training is provided and certifications are maintained on field staff to comply with EMS requirements.
- Manages one or more direct reports.

- Manages project-required construction permits as a prerequisite for project inception.
- Follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action. Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.

- Understanding environmental concepts, including permit requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience is required
- Ability to travel 75-100% Domestically
- Continuous improvement such as Lean, Six Sigma, Total Quality Management
- Advanced level of knowledge in:
- Fosters and demonstrates a workplace inclusive of creating opportunity, serving others, building trust, innovation, and exceeding expectations.
- QA/QC Processes
- 4+ years of Solar EPC experience is preferred
- Demonstrates leadership and expertise in eyes of client group.
- Writing skills
- Communication, leading meetings, engaging teams, public speaking, presentations
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent work experience (8 years) is required.
- Conducts regular discussions with employee(s) on personal development. Comfortable with empowering others.
- A valid driver’s license is required
