Associate Director, Scheduling- Civil Infrastructure Construction

• Optimize resource use within an integrated planning, cost and risk environment to meet budget and schedule.
• Follow established planning and scheduling methodology when developing project schedules.
• Create milestone and progress‑tracking baselines.
• Verify subcontractor compliance with scheduling methodology.
• Support development of the Work Breakdown Structure for performance measurement.
• Analyze schedule data, identify trends and issues, and communicate findings to the Project Director and team.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on schedule matters.
• Coach and mentor planning team members.
• Lead schedule reporting, including forecast updates and contingency management for work packages.
• Produce timely schedule updates, analyses and reports.
• Ensure contractor schedules align with integrated milestones.
• Assess resource availability impacts and recommend recovery options.
• Adhere to applicable SOX control requirements.

Requirements

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director – Scheduling to join our US Infrastructure team. The role requires strong leadership and a proven track record of managing project schedules on large‑scale programs.

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Have at least 8 years of civil infrastructure scheduling experience on major programs (e.g., aviation, rail, transportation, bridges, tunnels, utilities).
• Experience in fast‑paced, multi‑stakeholder environments requiring proactive coordination.
• Proficient with network planning techniques and tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Ability to support broader business initiatives, including responding to RFPs.
• Demonstrate excellent presentation, verbal, written and organizational communication skills.

Benefits

The full‑time position offers a base salary range of $175K‑$190K per year, subject to experience and qualifications. This range reflects base compensation only and may vary.
