Working as part of a maintenance team on various sites across Ireland and reporting to a Maintenance Manager in Ireland, you will be required to work on your own initiative, plan and review maintenance tasks and work orders, and ensure all requirements and preparations are fully undertaken before commencing work. You will liaise with the FM maintenance manager, FM team and colleagues to ensure jobs are planned ahead, PPM dates are met and all works are closed out on time in line with the PPM schedule.
You will be responsible for completing a range of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) tasks and inspections, adhering to Irish regulations, I.S. 10101 and SFG20 requirements, and documenting check sheets and reports. Tasks include fixed wire testing, periodic inspections, RCBO/RCD functional checks, lighting system inspections, emergency lighting, visual inspections of feeder pillars and EV charge points, and general electrical systems and distribution panels.
You will also carry out daily and weekly reactive electrical maintenance, attend to reactive issues on sites, and undertake small electrical projects such as CCTV, fire alarm, fire detection, PAVA, door access, and disabled refuge systems.
The role requires a Leaving Certificate with a pass in Mathematics (desirable), outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, preferably QC number and testing experience, excellent organizational skills, and certifications including Safepass, manual handling and colour vision test.
