Senior Credit Controller

Description

• Taking card payments over the phone
• Providing support and problem solving for the team
• Ensuring overdue items are chased via phone, email and letter within agreed timescales
• Completing the staff on-boarding and off-boarding process
• Ensuring all resources are managed effectively regarding cover within the team
• Responding promptly to all internal and external requests
• Ensuring team targets are met and high performance is maintained
• The building and maintenance of relationships for both internal and external clients
• Collecting outstanding charges from tenants
• Ensuring that all backlogs are communicated and managed with minimal disruption to service
• Management of own portfolios within LSH Property Management
• Ensuring a high level of collection rates and meeting debtor targets set by the business
• Maintaining accurate records of all chasing activity

• Formal qualification: MICM or equivalent an advantage.

• Awareness of general accounting procedures, regulatory standards & compliance requirements.
• Meticulous attention to detail, high level of accuracy and numeracy accompanying Credit Control experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word, including intermediate excel skills (v-lookups and Pivot Tables).
• Professional Supervisory Credit Control experience.
• Highly self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to work under own initiative, takes ownership of responsibilities and drives positive change.
• Team player and leader, with experience in managing projects and delivering to deadlines.
