Support the Field Service team with complex commissioning activities and offer customers post-commissioning support to ensure equipment operates according to customer requirements
Continue development of Standard Work Practices to aid in effective and consistent project execution, with a focus on simplifying design and increasing efficiency
Maintain relationships with professionals across the organization (including PSS, sales, engineering, product development, operations and safety) to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of shared initiatives and work
Create training materials and lead training sessions for both customers and S&C team members
Serve as technical lead and actively participate in complex project design, execution, and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of protection and control schemes for MV power systems, crossing multiple projects, utilizing microprocessor-based IEDs and automation controllers

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field and a minimum (10) ten years of experience with electric transmission and distribution systems, specifically automation and protection & Control systems (Master's Degree/PE license preferred)
Detailed knowledge of industry standards including IEEE, IEC and NFPA
Detailed knowledge of communication protocols/standards such as DNP 3.0 and IEC 61850
Excellent analytical skills and ability to assess data to drive informed decisions and apply a creative approach to problem solving complex issues
Creative and persuasive in communicating and influencing outcomes across a broad customer base and with internal stakeholders
Familiar with site-based safety protocols and experience interacting with de-energized medium-voltage switchgear
Proactive and self-motivated with continuing technical and project management education and skills
Proficient computer skills including experience using Oracle and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook)
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, listening and presentation) able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels from leadership to support staff
Interpersonal skills to establish meaningful relationships in person and in a remote environment
Able to successfully present to a variety of audiences both small face-to-face interactions through large conferences and formal presentations
In-depth knowledge and experience of utility and commercial/industrial best practices for medium-voltage applications and working with protection schemes, relay logic and programming and automation engineering
Ability to travel as required (domestically and internationally)
