This role is part of Munters’ engineering organization, focusing on the design and development of specialty air handling and cooling solutions. The engineer collaborates with cross‑functional teams to create concepts, select components, and generate technical documentation while ensuring alignment with project specifications.
The position also supports tender preparation, works closely with production to integrate designs, and upholds consistent quality across projects. It is a fixed‑term contract until January 2027 within a diverse and inclusive company that values innovation and employee growth.
- Report directly to the Product Engineering Manager.
- Support the engineering team in developing design concepts for specialty AHU, IEC, DEC, and CDU units.
- Verify and select components such as coils, compressors, fans, dampers, actuators, filters, and louvers.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including installation and maintenance manuals, spare parts lists, submittals, drawings, and datasheets.
- Assist Application Engineering in tender submissions by reviewing specifications and compiling technical responses with the design team and account manager.
- Ensure unit designs comply with approved project specifications.
- Coordinate with production to integrate designs into manufacturing.
- Maintain consistent quality and design across all projects for the customer.

- Proficiency in CAD and 3D modelling software, specifically SolidWorks.
- Mechanical, HVAC, or Building Services engineering degree or related field.
- Minimum 2+ years experience in mechanical HVAC design and component selection for similar technologies, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (moderate‑advanced level).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient IT skills and experience interpreting 2D drawings.
- Preferred: LEAN training or experience in a LEAN organization.
- Preferred: Experience in HVAC manufacturing design and mechanical/controls design of datacentre air handling units.
- Preferred: Experience with Revit and building services engineering.
