Watts Water Technologies
Designs and manufactures water safety, flow control, and energy-efficient solutions for various industries.
Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Supervisors and/or managers and other applicable Company management teams.
Utilizes crane and/or forklift for material handling.
Check overhead cranes to ensure they are functioning properly. Complete daily crane safety logs.
Checks all tools and performs preventive maintenance.
Provides guidance and answers questions for colleagues with less experience.
Maintain productive and collaborative relationships with other Watts employees.
Pulls parts listed on the bill of material (BOM) and checks against blueprints and work orders.
Attend regular safety meetings and training.
Follows rules that are required by ASME Section 1, Section IV, HLW, and Section VIII Division 1.
Builds parts according to working instructions and engineered production drawings.
Changes out consumables and assists with the maintenance of tools.
Assists with the inspection of parts and inventory reviews.
Performs duplex stainless steel and carbon steel welding.
Gathers, cleans, and inspects safety gear.

Ability to follow instructions.
Combination welder (GMAW, GTAW)
Adherence to all personnel policies, procedures, and standards of process as implemented by Watts.
Fanuc robot programming and operation.
3-year experience in welding fabrication. ASME experience a plus.
Punctuality and dependability.
Requires a current forklift license (Training and Certification issued by Watts)
Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers.
Aptitude to read blueprints and welding symbols.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses, welding hood including a forced air induction welding hood.
3-5 years ASME pressure vessel fabrication experience
Ability to push and pull up to 150 pounds.
Initiative to self-train and advance to Welder A. 6G pipe test required for advancement.
Good communication skills.
Ability to pass a 2G GTAW Welding Test
Experience with Duplex Stainless Steel and/ or welding Exotic materials.
Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work priorities and stressful conditions.
Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor.
High School or equivalent.
Travel Requirements: Less than 5% of travel. Examples of travel: Inner company training, Offsite training, offsite repairs.
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
Ability to pass a 2G GMAW Welding Test
Ability to use and understand dimensional tools including tape measure, calipers, and weld gauges.
Lincoln Electric welder machine experience. Setting, adjusting and programming.
