Advise on corporate governance requirements relating to our European operations and perform corporate secretarial functions for our legal entities.
Serve as a legal subject matter expert for commercial real estate capital markets and property sales transactions, including multi-jurisdictional legal and regulatory compliance requirements across Europe.
Develop and deliver compliance training, awareness programmes, and communications to business units and front-line staff, to embed a strong compliance culture.
Lead negotiations for cross-border commercial real estate capital markets and property sales engagements across a variety of European jurisdictions.
Collaborate with other members of the Legal, Technology, Accounting, and other functional teams to integrate U.S.-based and international compliance efforts.
Advise on data protection requirements applicable to our operations.
Establish and maintain required licenses, including an FCA license, and related real estate and financial services AML and other compliance programmes.

Proven senior counsel experience with in-house leadership in commercial real estate transactions, licensing, and compliance.
Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes.
Effective communication skills with a variety of contacts, including outside counsel, senior management, and business colleagues.
High standards of integrity and good judgment; inclination to collaborate on processes and outcomes.
In-house legal experience preferred.
