Site Manager

Description

• Organize and guide installation resource plans on-site to fulfill project requirements.
• Develop and oversee installation site management documents, including the organizational chart and contact details.
• Pinpoint project risks related to safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
• Formulate and oversee the installation quality plan and the document control strategy for projects.
• Handle project modifications, implement corrective measures, and revise project plans and documentation.
• Address and resolve challenging situations with customers, contractors, and team members.
• Ensure the creation and adherence to installation site safety procedures.
• Act as the liaison with customers for all installation-related activities. Oversee communication with project stakeholders.
• Promote team communication and define expectations, roles, and responsibilities.
• Own the project safety execution, conduct regular audits, and investigate incidents.
• Finalize and disseminate project installation reports.
• Guide, mentor, train, and develop Murata and contractor project teams. Offer support and direction to team members.
• Interpret project schedules, milestones, and deliverables. Develop the installation work plan and schedule.
• Arrange training, team advancement, and mentoring to enhance their technical, safety, quality, and interpersonal skills.
• Execute project closure, aiding in project acceptance and handover by finalizing all installation documentation.
• Oversee project execution and deliverables, ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely installation. Supervise on-site personnel.

Requirements

• Ability to travel upwards of 25% of the time as-needed, including international
• Familiarity and working knowledge of Electrical Diagnostic Instruments, as well as relevant Shop and Hand Tools
• Ability to read/write business reports, present information, and respond to questions
• Ability to navigate mathematical diagrams with abstract or concrete variables
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw accurate conclusions
• Previous experience with Semiconductor Automation, Equipment, or Facilities
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Programs (Excel and MS Project)
• Strong Time Management, Safety Mindset, and Communication skills
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job
• 2+ years of experience in Project Management and Team Oversight for Field Service Engineers sustaining or installing equipment
• Proven experience to effectively interact with customers, utilizing strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to learn and apply new skills
• Bilingual in English and Japanese is preferred but not required
• Electromechanical experience and familiarity with products such as Motors, Multimeters, Proximity Sensors, and Conveyor Belts
• Ability to read Electrical Schematics and Blueprints to diagnose and troubleshoot Electromechanical Devices
• Ability to interpret technical instructions in various forms
• Either an Associate's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; a Technical School Certification; or a Military Certification
