Primary responsibilities include creating detailed electrical designs, specifications, and calculations using engineering software, as well as communicating technical information to clients. The engineer will support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling, monitor progress and costs, and conduct in‑process design reviews to ensure quality and compliance. Safety, interdisciplinary coordination, and staying current with emerging technologies are also integral to the position.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license. A minimum of two years’ experience in building design consulting (four years preferred) is required, along with strong analytical skills and proficiency in industry‑standard tools such as lighting photometric software, power system analysis programs, Revit, and SET tools. Excellent communication, mentorship ability, and willingness to travel up to 10% are also expected.

Compensation ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 in California, with salaries adjusted for experience and location.
