Tasks

-Support ERP upgrades, system implementations, and automation initiatives by acting as a subject matter expert for project accounting data and reporting requirements. -Investigate data issues, identify root causes, and collaborate with various groups to improve data quality. -Support forecasting and annual budgeting processes. -Analyze and interpret project-related data flows to ensure accuracy, completeness, efficiency and compliance with established policies. -Standardize and improve analyses and reports to monitor performance and trends. -Obtain a thorough understanding of the end-to-end project lifecycle within the accounting environment, including master data, project setup, and transactions. -Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate, test, and implement process and system enhancements related to project accounting. -Develop, review and analyze reports to support various major clients. -Support the month-end closing processes by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring accurate financial data for reporting purposes.

What You Bring

-Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with attention to detail and accuracy. -Expert in Microsoft Excel and proficient in other analytical/reporting tools. -Solid understanding of project accounting principles, including project setup, billing, revenue recognition, and cost allocation. -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline. -Knowledge of internal controls, compliance requirements, and best practices in project accounting. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at various levels. -A comprehensive onboarding experience -Experience with system testing, ERP implementation, or automation initiatives. -Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in project accounting, financial analysis, or business process improvement.
