Support the development of P&C one line diagram, AC/DC schematics, control panel layout and wiring diagram, station service AC/DC distribution diagram, bill of material, cable schedule, etc.
Assist management as directed.
Regularly communicate and coordinate project activities with internal team members and build relationships with clients
Prepare proposals, contract amendments, change order documentation, and claim documentation.
Monitor cost accounting, invoicing, and closing out of projects.
Manage project subordinates and/or other project/discipline resources to quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
The design and delivery of green and brown field high voltage electrical substation project.
Work with team to ensure all required deliverables are prepared, submitted, and tracked.
Lead project resource teams assigned to support projects.
Coordinate with finance group to confirm invoicing and receiving payments on a timely basis.
Deliver the assigned projects on time, within budget and meet agreed scope.
Lead all quality assurance efforts on behalf of the team
Apply clients’ standards, guidelines, specifications, practices and procedures or appropriate industry standards in preparing design drawings as well as coordinate design activities to ensure installation and operations comply with all specifications, codes, and client requirements.
Creating and enforcing project quality plan.
In charge of QA/QC on assigned projects.
Provide documented scope, schedule, deliverables, and budgets.
Provide progress reports, project milestones, scope changes, budget forecasting/analysis, and schedule updates to the team.
Provide project status information to the Managers and team.
Maintain positive working relationships between the client and prime consultants.

Ability to manage / lead several simultaneous projects.
13 - 20 of protection & control / substation design engineering experience.
Familiar with discipline specific design software and design management systems.
Familiarity with applicable IEEE / EIC codes and standards.
Experience with power system studies such as short circuit and coordination studies.
Knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
Four-year bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
Experience with preparing relay settings.
Ability to estimate, plan, and schedule substation projects
Ability to support proposal activities
Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel as well as ACAD or MicroStation and Revit
Proven ability to consistently produce high quality of work
Understanding of CAD software.
Advanced presentation, written, verbal communication skills
Memberships and active participation in discipline specific professional organizations such as IEEE.
Distribution experience is a plus.
P.E required.
Ability to roll up sleeves and support project execution as needed
Ability to consistently work independently and present high quality of work.

Familiar with Grounding Calculations
Local utility agency experience preferred; ComEd experience strongly preferred.
