The Airport Architecture Project Manager will review architectural designs to ensure they meet airport standards, regulations (ICAO, IATA, FAA) and local building codes, while aligning with functional, operational and aesthetic goals of the expansion. The role includes on‑site monitoring of construction, coordination with structural, MEP and interior design teams, verification of material compliance, and management of design changes with authorities and contractors.
- Review architectural designs for compliance with ICAO, IATA, FAA and local codes.
- Ensure designs meet functional, operational and aesthetic requirements of airport expansion.
- Monitor on‑site construction to verify alignment with approved drawings.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP and interior design teams to resolve technical issues.
- Validate that construction materials conform to specifications and sustainability criteria.
- Oversee quality of architectural finishes, façade systems and interior elements.
- Collaborate with airport authorities, contractors and consultants to integrate design changes efficiently.
- Address design conflicts, site challenges and client requirements promptly.
- Promote energy efficiency, passenger comfort and sustainable solutions in architectural outcomes.
- Recommend innovative design enhancements for improved functionality and aesthetics.
- Assess and approve design modifications, change requests and value‑engineering proposals.
- Maintain as‑built drawings, design approvals and compliance documentation.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in architecture (Master’s or specialized certification preferred) and a professional licence such as RIBA, AIA or LEED. They need at least 12 years of experience in project management and construction supervision on international airport projects, strong knowledge of airport terminal design, international aviation codes, BIM tools, and expertise in sustainability, passenger flow and safety standards.
This position is a permanent contract within Egis’s Consulting and Operations business line, under the Aviation Direct service line, classified in the Project Management job family and Contract Management profession. The role is based in the Middle East and South Asia region.
- Hold a Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in architecture and a professional licence (RIBA, AIA, LEED, etc.).
- Possess deep knowledge of airport terminal design, aviation facilities and international building codes.
- Familiarity with ICAO, IATA and local civil aviation regulations.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM and visualization tools.
- Minimum 12 years experience in project management and construction supervision on international airport projects.
- Extensive background supervising terminals, concourses, lounges and airside/landside facilities.
- Expertise in material selection, space planning, passenger flow optimization and sustainability.
- Strong understanding of fire safety, accessibility (ADA) and energy‑efficient design principles.
- Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and review contractor submittals and shop drawings.
