The role is based in Novi, Michigan and requires regular in‑office attendance, collaboration with colleagues, and occasional travel for company events. You will join a team that is shaping the future of transportation by developing and validating advanced HIL testing frameworks for electric pickups and rugged SUVs.
- Master's (or PhD) with 10+ (or 6+) years of experience in Mechatronics, EE, or SW engineering.
- Extensive experience with automotive systems or mechatronics products (body, infotainment, drive, energy).
- Proficient in developing and verifying plant/control models in MATLAB/Simulink for HIL testing with dSpace.
- Strong understanding of first‑principles engineering and results‑oriented problem solving.
- Familiarity with embedded software, EE architecture, and communication protocols (A2B, CAN, Automotive Ethernet, LIN, LVDS) and network tools.
- Expertise in complex problem solving, data analysis, and cross‑team collaboration.
- Knowledge of automotive design/development processes, system requirements, and engineering best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with high integrity.
