Caregiver (CNA)

Description

• Assist residents in attending appointments, meals, activities, and other scheduled events, including pushing wheelchairs, assisting with walkers, and monitoring schedules.
• Perform Assisted Daily Living (ADL) duties to ensure residents’ cleanliness and comfort, such as transferring, mobility, bathing, changing briefs, peri-care, toileting, oral hygiene, grooming, dressing, and bed linen changes.
• Maintain accurate care records, shift summaries, and communications for co-workers to ensure continuity of care.
• Focus on safety, detail, and accuracy for sustained periods.

Requirements

• Ability to regularly walk, stand, bend, stoop, or sit for extended periods.
• Dependable and reliable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions independently and in stressful situations.
• Capability to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects/individuals weighing more than 50 lbs.
• Annual flu vaccination is required, except for medical or religious exemptions.
• Compassionate and tactful when interacting with residents, family members, team members, and the general public.
