Control spending within the annual maintenance budget and equipment related CAPEX budget(s).
Develop and mentor the EMD team and perform appraisals.
Work with HR on recruitment of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical technicians as needed.
Work closely with the Operations team, including co-ordination with our Supervisors and Technicians deployed globally to proactively manage any equipment issues.
Manage maintenance and repair related suppliers and subcontractors.
Manage workshop operations within the Teesside base, working with the EMD Planner and Workshop Foreman.
Build a global support network within Mammoet, and with external suppliers, ensuring that any maintenance, repair or breakdowns can be responded to quickly and efficiently regardless of project location.
Drive quality and efficiency within the EMD department, working closely with the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Offshore Services equipment and our technical managers.
Manage Offshore Services fleet of equipment for all aspects related to maintenance, repair, condition monitoring and breakdown.
Ensure maintenance and repair activities are planned and executed efficiently, working with the EMD Planner and utilising SAP Digital Work Orders (DWO) and Plan Board.
