Key responsibilities include overseeing daily building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, elevators and security, as well as soft services like housekeeping, events and client visits. You will develop preventive maintenance programs, monitor building automation and energy management systems, and ensure compliance with all regulations. Leadership duties involve directing technical maintenance staff, managing contractors and vendors, and conducting safety training. You will also plan and manage capital projects, prepare operating and capital budgets, and evaluate energy‑efficiency and sustainability initiatives. Additionally, you will implement and maintain a CMMS, analyze performance data, and strive to reduce utility costs.
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Facility Manager – Technical to oversee facility operations, including soft services and engineering functions, and act as the site lead for our client location in Indore. The role ensures optimal performance of utility systems, manages technical teams, and handles day‑to‑day FM operations.
Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) and 6+ years of facility management experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or site‑lead role. Professional certifications such as CFM, FMP, PE are preferred, and HVAC or electrical trade certifications are a plus. Technical skills required are proficiency with building automation systems, CMMS, strong knowledge of MEP systems, building codes and safety regulations, and experience with energy management and sustainability. Core competencies include strong leadership, problem‑solving, communication, client‑engagement, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
