Ensure all procurement and contracting activities adhere to applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations, corporate policies, and ethical standards
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain, contracts, and procurement processes to ensure business continuity and resilience
Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from acquisition planning and proposal preparation to negotiation, award, administration, and close-out. Ensure all prime contracts and associated subcontracts are managed promptly and effectively.
Lead the sourcing and evaluation of subcontractors and suppliers, manage vendor relationships, negotiate favourable terms and conditions, and monitor performance to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Oversee departmental budgets, drive cost-reduction initiatives, and conduct price/cost analysis to ensure the best value for the company.
Develop, implement, and maintain robust procurement policies, procedures, and systems (e.g., ERP and e-Procurement platforms) to optimize efficiency, transparency, and accountability.
Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of contracts, subcontracts, and procurement professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-accountability culture
Develop and execute strategic sourcing and procurement plans that align with the organization’s mission and financial goals. Advise executive and senior leadership on matters impacting solicitation, compliance, and other procurement-related activities.

Minimum of 15 years’ of related experience in contracts and procurement experience in procurement, contracts, and subcontracts management, including at least 5 years in an executive or senior leadership role.
Bachelor’s degree
Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, both written and oral.
Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, procurement software, and data analytics tools.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects, prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, and drive results.
In-depth knowledge of contract law, regulations, and best practices in strategic sourcing and supply chain management.
