Tasks

-Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of secondary systems within broader project frameworks. -Prepare detailed engineering documentation including protection single line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and interface schedules, ensuring alignment with industry standards and client specifications. -Develop protection designs from concept through to detailed design for HV substations. -Contribute to the development of best practices, digital tools, and sustainable engineering solutions within the energy sector. -Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases, resolving issues and ensuring systems operate as intended.

What You Bring

-Strong understanding of relevant standards and regulations, including IEC, IEEE, and Australian grid codes. -Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on secondary systems and protection. -Proficiency in industry-standard software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and protection coordination software (e.g., ETAP, DIgSILENT). -Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and engage with clients and stakeholders. -Experience in secondary systems design for high-voltage substations, including protection schemes.
