We’re looking for a motivated Utility Worker to join our team in Lower Hutt, Wellington. In this role you will provide general labouring, field support and assistance to Gas crews, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently and to specification. You will also help maintain equipment, optimise resource use, and communicate with clients, residents and the public as needed.
Typical duties include operating plant and equipment where trained, carrying out risk assessments, supporting job planning, documenting work, and ensuring all site activities meet safety, quality and environmental requirements. The position suits someone practical, reliable, safety‑focused and who enjoys varied outdoor work, offering a long‑term opportunity within a supportive team.
