The Director, European Business Systems will lead a multi‑disciplinary team responsible for managing, optimizing, and advancing the business systems platform that supports Greystar’s European operations. This role is pivotal in driving digital transformation and operational excellence across property management, development, and investment functions, and will shape the technology strategy for Greystar Europe.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the European business systems ecosystem, collaborating with technology and business leaders to define system strategies, integrating emerging technologies to improve processes and reduce costs, and managing relationships with external providers to ensure cost‑effective, functional, and sustainable solutions. The Director will also build a high‑performance team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement while delivering multiple projects concurrently.
Organizational duties involve adhering to established policies, monitoring regulatory compliance, and reporting any violations. The role requires demonstration of safe behaviours in line with company and departmental standards and staying up‑to‑date with technological and industry changes that affect the area of responsibility.
Candidates must hold a relevant degree or possess equivalent experience and be proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Proven experience in implementing and operating large‑scale systems within the Build‑to‑Rent or PBSA sector, or a comparable fast‑paced commercial environment, is essential. Desired skills include strong leadership, business planning and budgeting, excellent communication with senior stakeholders, strategic planning, collaborative teamwork, innovative problem‑solving, metric‑driven performance measurement, and adaptability to a rapidly changing environment.
