Collaborate with Geospatial Trusted Centre (TC), Data Custodians (DCs) and Government Data Office (GDO) to realise the SSOT commitments for geospatial underground data collection, collation, verifications and sharing.
Serve as the primary point of contact for planning users regarding inquiries and issues related to planning systems. Provide assistance in resolving user concerns and escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate support teams. Manage and coordinate change requests to ensure system enhancements are aligned with user requirements and technical feasibility.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with government geospatial data acquisition and management requirements or standards, (e.g. SLA Utility Survey Standards), and working with stakeholders (e.g. other agency SSOTs) for review and feedback on relevant geospatial data standards.
Perform completeness and quality checks on received geospatial data, and maintain the geospatial data lineage, with periodic data reviews and reporting.
Act as the key liaison between IT teams and planning users to facilitate effective communication, support, and alignment in the development, implementation, and maintenance of planning-related systems and platforms, including the coordination and management of all change requests.
Implement processes for monitoring geospatial data quality, ensuring that geospatial production data is always accurate and available for stakeholders and business processes that depend on it.

Qualification(s) of tertiary institution of disciplines such as Info Comm & Engineering, Urban Planning and Built Environment; Or relevant 2-3 years working experiences in geospatial data management, geospatial analyses and land planning-related research work to improve land planning outcomes.
Able to be the JTC lead geospatial planning and planning-related research and analyses work to support JTC’s land resource planning, urban planning and land redevelopment functions will be a value add.
Willingness to be exposed to operational work in order to conduct good geospatial analyses.
Preferably with strong GIS knowledge, with some experiences in IT system operation and maintenance and data management.
Good interpersonal skills to work in a team but also can work on your own.
Some experiences in CAD/GIS drafting, and basic understanding of remote sensing and various collection techniques.
Ability to apply GIS techniques to address land planning and urban planning issues and able to work with basic scripting languages (e.g. python, R).
Strong written and oral communication to communicate results of geospatial analyses and research findings such that land planning and redevelopment work outcomes are improved will be added value.
