Assist in preparation of geotechnical reports, calculation packages, drawings and specifications
Assist in planning and conducting geotechnical investigations and site assessments
Assist in performing geotechnical calculations and analysis for small- and large-scale projects

Willingness and ability to go to the field as needed; and
Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment
EIT certification, or current registration for FE exam. Candidates hired without their EIT will be title "Geotechnical Designer" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
Experience with MS Office and software applications
Have some familiarly with geotechnical software including LPILE, ALPILE, GROUP, SHAFT, GeoStudio, Settle3, and DeepEx
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Familiarity with GeoStudio, ESoft APILE, LPILE, GROUP, and Settle3 preferred.
Occasional travel outside NY/NJ may be expected to help assist project demands in other areas
Local candidates preferred
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Bachelor's degree in civil or Geotechnical Engineering; master’s degree with Geotechnical emphasis preferred.
