- Performs routine manual calculations regarding lighting layouts, power distribution, and other related electrical systems
- Works independently in developing preliminary and finished designs by analyzing reports, maps, specifications, and drawings related to the project
- Participates in conferences with clients to establish project objectives and resolve problems.
- Completes tasks in the areas of lighting, power, communications, fire alarm, and utility system design
- Prepares design computations and quantity estimates using various software packages
- Applies standard engineering procedures and techniques to complete well defined design
- Produces documentation for issue to client for projects of all size primarily in Revit
- Coordinates with clients, teaming partners, and other disciplines.
- Asks appropriate questions to determine scope of project work

- Capable of checking and approving shop drawings
- Proficient in REVIT
