- Performs technical troubleshooting, code debugging, and problem solving for custom built data warehousing solutions
- Processes data extracts using data retrieval and management tools
- Organizational Impact: Executes job responsibilities with the understanding of how output would affect and impact other areas related to own job area/team with occasional guidance
- Assists in implementing effective business analytics practices that drive improved decision making, efficiency and performance
- Identifies, communicates, and resolves data quality and data reconciliation issues
- Ensures optimum service to all internal and external partners in response to all requests for service and information
- Communicates regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity, security and optimized performance at the application and database level
- Promote the IFS model within the ISS community
- Builds effective partnerships with coworkers throughout the company by freely sharing appropriate information and providing assistance when needed
- Maintains an accurate and comprehensive inventory of data, data systems, and data storage
- Performs independent audits and reviews and validates databases to ensure data integrity
- Communicate effectively with colleagues within the Operations Performance group and across the company so that information is disseminated effectively and participate in project groups and meetings as required
- Team Interaction: Provides informal guidance and support to team members
- Works collaboratively with colleagues to resolve data discrepancies and/or to clarify reporting procedures
- Participates in and supports all planning and problem resolution
- Develops and enforces standards and procedures for the storage and retrieval of data
- Communicate with nontechnical business users to determine specific business requirements for reports and business intelligence solutions
- Establishes and maintains effective collaborative and cooperative working relationship across the account

- Travel requirements: 10%
- Knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts
- 2-3 years in business intelligence and data warehousing environments
- Demonstrated detailed knowledge of BI areas including ETL design, analytics and reporting
- MS SQL Server, Integration Services and Reporting Services
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds
- Demonstrated attention to detail on ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the data warehouse and the individual work units
- Possesses strong oral and written communication skills, clearly and accurately communicating complex and/or technical information to both technical and nontechnical audiences
- Experience: 3+ years of Power BI Development (Power BI certifications preferred)
- Ability to use presentation, word processing, and database or spreadsheet software
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Computer and Information Science required
- Breadth of Knowledge: Has expanded knowledge gained through experience within a professional area
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Problem Solving/ Complexity of Work: Analyzes moderately complex problems using technical experience and judgment
- Self-motivated; able to work within a project-based environment
- Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods
- Demonstrated experience in data extraction and manipulation, ETL techniques
- Possesses strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong TSQL scripting abilities and understanding of complex stored procedures, views, data aggregation/manipulation through table joins/queries, database design, normalization and de-normalization techniques
