What you would be doing

Repair cracks, holes, or other imperfections using caulk, putty, or plaster.
Assist with repainting vacant units and common areas in apartment settings.
Clean brushes, tools, and workspaces after completion of each job.
Assist the maintenance team with minor drywall or carpentry repairs.
Ensure proper ventilation and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Perform touch-ups and finishing tasks for a clean look.
Apply multiple coats as needed, ensuring even and professional coverage.
Follow project specifications and client expectations.
Store paints and chemicals safely according to OSHA guidelines.
Ensure a uniform appearance with no drips, streaks, or blemishes.
Communicate timelines and updates with the supervisor or property manager.
Estimate the quantity of paint and materials needed.
Mix and match paints to achieve the desired color and texture.
Clean, sand, scrape, or wash surfaces to remove dirt, old paint, or rust.
Apply paint, varnish, stains, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
Move furniture or equipment as needed to access painting areas.
Support team in preparing units for new residents (make-readies).
Create an autonomous, engaging, and rewarding environment where you will be valued.
