As our new Production Manager, you’ll ensure the plant operates effectively and efficiently, allowing us to service our customers to the highest standards.

  • You’ll take ownership of the standard operating procedures and GMP standards for the specified plants and ensure that they are operated, reviewed and regularly updated.
  • You’ll maximise productivity, efficiency and utilisation of the specified plants and manage improvement programmes.
  • You will be responsible for the production fixed cost budget, develop cost savings initiatives.
  • You will ensure the plan operates in line with all HSE legislations and Environmental Agency permits, company policies and standards (ISO9001, ISO14001), including ensuring HAZOPS are carried out and actions completed.
  • You will be an innovative leader, promoting a Continuous Improvement culture in the plant and actively develop colleagues to add value beyond their allocated task.
  • You will encourage and drive the training and development of colleagues, paying particular attention to competence assessment and development needs to improve skills, ensuring there are appropriate resources to run the plants.

You’ll have a safety-first mentality, with a real desire to work with peers to develop the asset plan for the site and develop colleagues to ensure business goals are achieved.

  • You have a good understating of process safety technologies and legal requirements under COMAH and environmental permitting and extensive demonstrated experience of driving safety improvements in a production environment.
  • You’re an experienced leader with a drive for continuous improvement, a belt holder/practitioner in six sigma would be advantageous.
  • We’d love for you to have a Degree or equivalent in Engineering or chemistry.
  • You hold NEBOSH NGC or equivalent.
  • You’ll need extensive experience of leading multi-plant production facilities (minimum 10 years)
