- Be responsible for the integrated assurance framework within SSE Renewables, ensuring assurance activities are directed to areas of highest risk and outputs generate value for the business.
- Lead a multi-disciplinary, high performing team, maintaining a culture of inclusivity, empowerment and continuous improvement.
- Be accountable for SSE Renewables' Enterprise Risk Management Framework, acting as a strategic advisor to Executives and Leadership on risk management, emerging risks and mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with colleagues in other Business Units and Group to integrate assurance frameworks, share intelligence and maximise value from assurance activities.
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the business resilience framework, ensuring the business is prepared to respond to our highest disruption risks.

- Experience of leading high performing multi-disciplinary teams, including coaching and mentorship.
- Extensive experience in a risk and/or assurance background, preferably within the Energy sector.

- Ability to lead and influence senior stakeholders on complex risk areas, including at Executive and Board level.
- Ability to understand complex business problems with a commercial mindset, and establish pragmatic solutions.
