The School Crossing Supervisor role is a casual position supporting the safety of school children, parents, teachers and local motorists within the Campbelltown Local Government Area.
The role provides relief across various sites, with shifts typically between 8:00‑9:30 am and 2:30‑4:00 pm, lasting a minimum of one hour, Monday to Friday during the school term.
Ideal candidates are community‑oriented, reliable, and able to communicate effectively while staying alert to potential hazards, regardless of weather conditions.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check, police check, reference checks and a health assessment; existing checks will accelerate onboarding.
As a Road Safety Hero you will become a familiar and respected presence around schools, directly impacting the wellbeing of countless families each day.
Compensation is offered as an hourly rate together with superannuation, and all training, uniforms and equipment are supplied by Transport for NSW.
Successful candidates may be placed in a talent pool for future casual or permanent part‑time roles over the next 18 months, and support is available for applicants with disability throughout the process.
