The Maintenance Supervisor provides maintenance support and is accountable for delivering on commitments to residents, including quality move‑in experiences, resident satisfaction, timely service, and personal attention. The supervisor responds to resident service requests and helps Cushman & Wakefield deliver superior customer service.
Key duties include preparing market‑ready apartments through painting, carpet cleaning or repair, general repairs, and housekeeping. The supervisor completes resident service requests promptly and possesses knowledge of plumbing, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, electrical work, painting, caulking, snow removal, scheduling, and life‑safety issues. They also maintain grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog parks, perform on‑call emergency procedures, report budget‑impacting maintenance issues, and schedule and document preventative maintenance while staying current on housing laws, codes, and training requirements.
The role requires the ability to work any shift from Sunday to Saturday to meet business needs, knowledge of safe use of cleaning agents and equipment, and basic math skills for calculations and graph interpretation. A valid driver’s license is mandatory, and a CPO license is required where applicable. All Cushman & Wakefield safety policies and procedures must be followed.
Applicants must have a high school diploma, GED, or trade/technical/vocational education, and at least three years of related maintenance experience. Required certifications include EPA 608 Type II, a CPO, or the local city equivalent. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $25.50‑$30.00.
The work environment is a professional office setting with standard equipment, though regular travel between properties in varying weather conditions is expected. Physical demands include climbing stairs, standing or sitting for up to 85 % of the time, lifting up to 100 lb, and traveling up to 10 % of the workweek.
