Develop a detailed understanding of the UK paper sector, including government policy, customer investment plans, market dynamics, and competitive trends. Become ABB’s sector champion and provide regular updates to UK & Cluster Management.
Collaborate closely with colleagues within your Business Line to drive the growth strategy and encourage aligned behaviours across the organisation.
Work with adjacent and clustered ABB business units to deliver customer-focused, cross-portfolio solutions. Advocate for customer needs and support sales or issue resolution beyond your own BL.
Own and grow your sales pipeline within assigned accounts, achieving annual sales targets agreed with Local BL & Cluster Management.
Lead and deliver selected initiatives within the IAPI UK service growth strategy, including action plans, ownership, and timelines. Report progress to the Industry Lead for Paper UK and Division Management.
Provide accurate sales forecasts at least twice per month using Salesforce and local funnel-management processes.
Develop account plans and sales plans using approved ABB processes and tools.
Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders across major UK accounts. Maintain player maps and document sales activities in Salesforce.
