Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred) and possess a Professional Engineer license, with the ability to obtain a New York State license within six months. A minimum of 15 years of structural engineering experience focused on marine or waterfront projects is required, along with proficiency in analysis software such as SAP2000 or STAAD.Pro. Preferred qualifications include a Licensed Structural Engineer designation, ACOPNE certification, and compliance with background check and E‑Verify requirements.
The role offers a salary range of $154,000 to $188,000, based on experience, education, and professional registration, and is based in the New York City market. Work is primarily office‑based with occasional site visits that may involve light travel and navigating unpaved terrain while carrying equipment.
