MMS Group is seeking an experienced affordable‑housing Property Manager to oversee a residential property in Manhattan, New York. The role focuses on the overall operational and financial success of the property while fostering personal and professional growth among team members to ensure high employee satisfaction.
The ideal candidate brings three or more years of residential multifamily property management experience, including at least two years in affordable housing, and possesses knowledge of Section 8, LIHTC, and related programs. An associate degree in marketing or business is preferred, along with proficiency in RealPage OneSite or similar software and strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Work independently with minimal direction in challenging environments.
- Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Three+ years residential multifamily property management experience, including two years in affordable housing.
- Associate degree in Marketing and/or Business preferred.
- Knowledge of Section 8, LIHTC, and other affordable housing programs, including voucher submission and tax‑credit processes.
- LIHTC certification preferred.
- Proficiency with RealPage OneSite or similar property management software.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
