As a Specialist Operator in our Transport team in Palmerston North, you will go beyond operating equipment. You will help set up worksites, maintain machinery, coordinate with your crew and ensure construction materials reach their destination. You will operate a variety of modern machines such as excavators, loaders, rollers, trucks, mid‑mount tractors and graders while contributing to a safe, organised workplace.
- Perform routine equipment safety checks, site setup, and basic maintenance.
- Transport construction materials between worksites and assist with loading/unloading.
- Complete daily reporting and maintain accurate records to support the team.

- Hold a full, clean Class 4 driver’s licence (Class 5 preferred) with Wheels, Tracks and Rollers endorsements.
- Possess a Dangerous Goods endorsement and proven experience moving machinery in civil construction.
- Have solid knowledge of transport trucks and related operations.
